All the wrong, went right!

“Teaching is the most overwhelming experience that a man can have”.

         On my off campus practice teaching, I had had proved that this feeling is real. Yes, I could actually say that if I will be given another chance to go back in time, this experience is one of my choice. Seeing your students learning from you and enjoying with you is an expensive thing that even money couldn’t buy. Teaching is a very noble profession that I had experienced and proved in my off campus practice teaching. Nonetheless, on the two sides of a coin there are happiness and ease, and there are also stress and sorrow.

       As a student teacher, it not an easy task to do teaching. Based from my experience, you should have a very long patience in order for you to survive. Patience will be your lifeline to survive each day. As a student teacher, I find it very hard to adjust in my students’ behavior. I feel so annoyed about the behavior of the students today. So noisy and sometimes they have their own world that makes me wonder. I admit that I’m not a strict kind of teacher but somehow my students pushes me to become that kind of teacher. I really find it difficult to pretend to be a strict teacher.

     Nonetheless, these problems are immediately solved through the help of my CT’s Mr. Allan Rey Demafiles and Mrs. Dyreen Mirando that serves as my heroes in surviving my every day class. Anyway, I really want to teach students specially in this school because this is my alma mater. I had done all the means to facilitate my class properly were effective that’s why even at first it was very difficult still my  pushed myself to the limit so that I could impart all the learnings to my noisy students.

   

Me as a Student Teacher

     

       It is an amazing experience to serve your own Alma Mater. Honestly, before our deployment, I actually doubted myself if I would be a teacher. Because you know at the first place I am a shy type of person. It's a kind of hard to imagine myself teaching. However, as usual my alma mater did not fail me. They did all just to help me. hence, I am very thankful because my CT's let me grow and realized that teaching is an amazing profession that you could enjoy for the rest of your life. And now, I realized that teaching is me and teaching students makes me satisfied and happy.

 

Greatest Accomplishment

          

    In terms of accomplishments, one my greatest accomplishment is to see myself and realize that teaching is the the profession for me. The off campus practice teaching strengthen my faith that I would be a teacher and it tighten my love to the profession of teaching.
